Tech CU Rebuilds School Library Destroyed By Arson

SAN JOSE, Calif. – Tech CU is helping to rebuild the library at Trace Elementary School, which was significantly burned by an arsonist on July 5.

Trace Elementary is a bilingual visual and performing arts school in the San Jose Unified School District. It is the largest elementary school in the city, and administrators are working hard to get the campus ready so its 1,000 K-5 students can start school on Aug. 16.

Tech CU, along with the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, is helping the school by donating new or gently used books. People may drop off their donation at any of Tech CU's nine financial centers between Monday, Aug. 2 and Friday, Aug. 13.
