Ent Intro's App For iPhone, iPod Touch
COLORADO SPRINGS-Ent FCU members can use their mobile Mac devices to find a service center, shared branch or ATM anywhere in the country. The CU's application, which works on iPhones or iPod Touch devices, is available at the iTunes store. It uses the GPS functionality of the iPhone to display the closest 18 ATMs or service centers to the user's location and then hooks up with Google Maps to provide driving directions. The app also displays location names, hours of operation and service features at each location.
AAFCU Revamps Website
FORT WORTH, Texas-American Airlines CU launched a revamped website earlier this year, which features a number of new tools and enhanced functionality. The new resource center provides financial-planning information and allows members to manage their money all in one place. GNO Is Now On The Go
METAIRIE, La.-Greater New Orleans FCU premiered new mobile services this spring for members on the go; mobile banking and account alerts. With nearly 52% of the CU's membership under 45 years of age, the credit union said it understands it needs to meet technology expectations of Generation X & Y consumers. The new mobile banking service allows members to view their accounts, make transfers, review histories, stop payments on checks and view cleared checks from any mobile device with a web browser. Account alerts come in the form of e-mails announcing any important activities taking place in members' accounts.

CU Enhances Mobile, Text Banking
EUCLID, Ohio-Members at Eaton Family CU can now use their mobile phones to conduct their banking business in whatever way best suits them. The CU's enhanced multimode mobile banking service allows them to use text messaging, WAP 2.0 web browsing or downloadable applications to view account balances and histories, transfer funds, search account activities and find shared branch locations.
