Teleconference Held From CU House

CUNA for the first time used a joint teleconference from Credit Union House on Capitol Hill to allow credit union reps to "meet" with their representatives.

Approximately 80 Virginia CU reps gathered in Roanoke, Richmond and Norfolk inaugurated the teleconference, which lasted about 90 minutes.

Reps. Bob Goodlatte (R), Virgil H. Goode (I) and Frank Wolf (R), as well as an aide to Rep. Eric Cantor (R) participated in the teleconference, briefed the credit union attendees and answered questions.

According to CUNA, the top item of discussion was bankruptcy abuse reform legislation.
