Temporary Closures, But No Reported Damage From Quake

RICHMOND, Va. – Credit unions were reporting no significant damage of any kind from the earthquake that was centered 35 miles northwest of here yesterday, and which was felt up and down the East Coast.

The 5.8 earthquake was the first in a century for the region, and caused some damage to buildings, including in Washington. CUNA temporarily closed its office in DC, but re-opened later in the day.
