O'Brien will take with him suitcases full of clothing inaddition to cash that was donated over a four-day period byemployees of the credit union and nearby Gold Coast CU. Severalother credit unions also announced relief initiatives: TechnologyCU, San Jose, Calif., said it is eliminating fees to transfer fundsto the affected areas or to any tsunami relief organization.Arizona FCU, Phoenix, said it is partnering with the Save theChildren foundation to raise funds relief funds. And U of C FCU,Boulder, Colo., has set up a fund for the American RedCross.
