The robberies included a heist of an armored vehicle outside a Walmart in nearby Bowie that was caught on camera. During that holdup a Garda armored car pulled up to the entrance of the Walmart to pick up receipts from weekend. Just as a worker approached the armored vehicle carrying bags of money, three masked gunmen pulled up in a white van. One of them can be seen on video pointed a gun at the man's head and snatching the bags containing $88,000 in cash, and checks totaling $13,000.

The three also were charged with an October armed robbery at a Hyattsville Walmart of $140,000 in cash.

The three were charged with the September 2011 armed robbery at the Navy Federal branch, where they allegedly threatened employees and made off with $100,427, some of which they dropped as they ran away.
