FT. MYERS, Fla. – Three members of Suncoast Schools FCU were charged Friday with a check fraud that used deposit-taking ATMs to steal more than $90,000 from the credit union.

The suspects allegedly deposited fraudulent or stolen checks, then immediately withdrew the cash or made purchases before the fraud was discovered. In some cases, the account holder claimed their credit or debit card had been stolen, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
The three charged Friday were: 19-year-old Precious Day, 18-year-old Tequila Ferguson and 26-year-old Farrah Sturgis.
Five other suspects are also being sought in the case.
