CHICAGO In what likely was the first credit union conference at which there was live participation from three continents, singer/musician Daria Musk told credit unions they are authentic organizations, which matters because “authenticity is the new currency.”
Musk, who rose to worldwide fame as the result of concerts that began as Google+ Hangouts and which were so successful Google eventually modified and enhanced its service, spoke to CO-OP’s THINK ’13 Conference while people from around the U.S., Australia and Europe also participated live.
Musk has had more than 2.6-million views of her music online and has performed at the Grammys and spoken to the TED conference about her path. That authenticity, she said, “pays the most dividends. Authenticity is totally scalable.”
