Time, Money Savings Being Touted With FlashP

PORTLAND, Ore. - The $1-billion Northwest Corporate Credit Union is reporting that after implementing VSoft Corp.'s Branch Item Capture it has achieved significant cost savings by eliminating transportation and equipment costs. The corporate said it spent nearly a year determining the best solution for its credit union members before deciding to implement VSoft's Branch Item Capture. VSoft currently has installations with 14 corporate credit unions and leagues, reaching more than 6,000 credit unions.

In addition, Northwest Corporate's CU members, such as Rivermark Community CU of Beaverton, Ore., are reporting the solution is offering faster funds availability, reduced float and reduced costs associated with manual processes, courier services, and check adjustment fees, Northwest Corporate reported. After purchasing Branch Item Capture, Northwest Corporate's credit union members were quick to deploy the solution, rebranded as FlashP, which can capture check images and data at the branch level with small desktop scanners.
