PONTA VEDRA, Fla. – Global Axcess Corp., the financially troubled ATM operator, said yesterday it has received $175,000 that had been held in escrow from the sale of its South African subsidiary, known as Cash Axcess Corp. Ltd., The funds, from Coin Security Group Ltd., will be booked as income for the company’s first quarter. Global Axcess operates 4,400 ATMs along the east coast which it contracts as co-branded machines for credit unions and community banks.
