HARRISBURG, Penn. – A man who robbed Choice One FCU in Wilkes-Barre by claiming he had a bomb last week was sentenced to 90 months to 120 months behind bars – even though he made off with just $920.
Leon Stanford, 43, pleaded guilty to robbing the credit union on July 23, 2008, after handing a teller a note that demanded money and claimed he had a bomb.
