Two California Credit Unions Change Their Names

Two California credit unions have new names. The $138-million Nazarene Credit Union has changed its name to America's Christian Credit Union. The 45-year-old CU serves the Nazarene Church and has formed alliances with a variety of other faith-based organizations.

In Lompoc, Calif., the 44,000-member Vandenberg FCU has changed its name to CoastHills Federal Credit Union. CoastHills has a community charter that allows it to serve everyone in northern Santa Barbara County and San Luis Obispo County. The credit union used Weber Marketing Group and James Clark Design Images, both based in Seattle, to oversee the name change process.
