Two Georgia Credit Unions Partner with Carvana

Two credit unions in Georgia have partnered with Carvana, an online auto retailer.

Associated Credit Union in Norcross and LGE Community Credit Union in Marietta will now be able to provide their members with the ability to search for, buy and sell their cars through Carvana's online platform, which has an inventory of 7,000 vehicles for purchase online.

The partnership streamlines the purchasing process and allows credit union members to receive pre-approval at multiple locations in Georgia, Carvana said in a press release.

"We wanted to offer our members an easy, affordable way to purchase vehicles and Carvana was a natural, ideal fit," Scott Brooks, vice president of marketing and business development for LGE Community CU, said in the release.

Carvana vehicles come with a 100-day or 4,189-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and are backed by a 7-day "test own" return policy. Carvana now works with 13 credit unions across the nation.

"We're always looking for new and innovative services for our members that provide value and convenience," Tom Maiellaro, vice president of marketing for Associated CU. "Carvana is the perfect partner for automotive sales, as its online platform takes the haggling and frustrations out of the purchasing process."
