PITTSFIELD, Mass. - (06/01/06) -- Two local men were convicted inBerkshire Superior Court Wednesday of the December 22, 2004 armedrobbery of more than $100,000 from the Credit Union of theBerkshires. The two men, Marcos Sostre and Robinson Figueroa, burstinto the credit union that morning wearing ski masks andbrandishing handguns, before making off with the cash. The getawaycar driver in the hold-up, Angel Lamboy, pleaded guilty earlier andwas sentenced to six-to eight years in state prison.
