Two More CUs Select USERS' DataSafe System

USERS Inc., a unit of Fiserv, Inc., announced that two credit unions have selected its DataSafe in-house system. The $108-million NorthCountry FCU, South Burlington, Vt., has selected the DataSafe solution, citing USERS' "progressive system architecture" as a prime reason for its selection.

Meanwhile, USERS also reported that the most recent credit union to select its DataSafe core processing system is Patriots FCU, Aliso Viejo, Calif. The $105-million PFCU will convert in June. The credit union said it was seeking a new core system that would help it expand its membership, as it moves beyond its primary FOM of members of the Marine Corps based in Orange County, Calif. and Yuma, Ariz. PFCU said it expects the move to USERS will result in efficiency gains throughout the credit union through the use of familiar, browser-based software and the elimination of manual processes.
