USA CU Gets Half The State

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. - (05/12/06) – State regulators granted USA CUa community charter encompassing nine counties and half thestate’s 10 million people, one of the largest fields ofmemberships ever granted. The counties, all surrounding Detroit,are: Oakland, Macomb, Wayne, Washtenaw, Lapeer, Livingston, Monroe,St. Clair and Sanilac counties. The formal expansions was precededby a comprehensive media campaign that included television addsthat invited people to visit the credit union’s branches.“These people were interested in the benefits USA CreditUnions offers,²” said Mary McDonald, president of thecredit union. “And we are very interested in servingthem.”
