DENVER - (09/28/05) -- New Horizons Community CU has rolledout a vehicle loan program that reduces rates according to themileage the financed vehicle gets. The credit union is offering a0.50% loan discount on vehicles that get 25-plus combined miles pergallon (MPG) and 0.25% on vehicles that get 20-24 combined MPG. Itis basing its mileage figures on data available atwww.fueleconomy.gov. The promotion will run for a limited time, butit could run into 2006.
