Valley Oak CU signs core conversion deal with CU*NorthWest

CU*NorthWest, a cooperative CUSO based in Liberty Lake, Wash., announced that Valley Oak Credit Union signed a core data processing contract with the firm and is scheduled for conversion in February 2018.

Based in Three Rivers, Calif., Valley Oak CU has about $51.5 million in assets and approximately 7,100 members.

“When it came time to re-evaluate our core processing solution we were intrigued by the opportunity to work with a cooperative CUSO,” said Valley Oak CEO Alan Cortum. “During our discovery phase we spoke with several CEOs regarding CU*Northwest. Every CEO we spoke with had nothing but positive comments about the service and support they receive as clients and owners of the CUSO. As a smaller credit union with three branches, we needed a partner who can offer us flexibility and we believe we have found that partner with CU*Northwest.”
