Vantage West Credit Union President and CEO Robert D. Ramirez is on the transition team of new U.S. Rep. Martha McSally, R-Ariz.

Ramirez was named to the team Monday by McSally, who will be sworn in along with the rest of the new Congress Tuesday, to represent Arizona's 2nd Congressional District. McSally defeated Ron Barber, a Democrat and former district director for former U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz., this past November.
Along with serving as Vantage West's president and CEO Ramirez also serves as the chairman of the Credit Union Executive Society's board of directors. Vantage West Credit Union stakes a claim as southern Arizona's largest, with approximately $1.2 billion in assets.
