WATERLOO, Iowa – Veridian CU last week announced it is opening a full-service branch on the University of Northern Iowa campus in Cedar Falls.

The deal with UNI puts the state’s largest credit union on a college campus for the first time.
The partnership was spurred by a request for proposal from UNI to several financial institutions earlier in the year, Veridian officials said.
Veridian also will work with UNI to service its automatic teller machines. There currently are six ATMs on campus that will be serviced by Veridian beginning in mid-September. An additional ATM will be placed at the Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center, bringing the total number of ATMs on campus to seven.
Veridian currently has 22 branches.
