WATERLOO, Iowa – Veridian CU has set aside $3 million to provide loans for people digging out from this winter’s heavy snowstorms. Rates on loans up to $5,000 will be 8.5%, or lowered to 8% with automatic transfer or payroll deduction. Borrowers will be asked the specific purpose of the loan. Applications will be accepted until April 30, or when the $3 million runs out.
