Open Solutions Inc. has released version 2005.1 of The Complete Credit Union Solution, its relational core data processing systems for credit unions.
"This latest release of the product provides increased functionality as well as performance improvements, and regulatory and globalization enhancements," the company said, "and provides open architecture applications, providing users with a fully-featured strategic product platform that integrates core data processing applications designed on a single centralized Oracle relational database. The platform provides advanced data processing, superior performance and accurate warehousing of real-time data." Release 2005.1 also has a number of new add-on modules including the Credit Report Module, Multi-Currency Module and Shadow Accounting.
Separately, the Credit Union Electronic Account Management Services Association (CEAMS) and Open Solutions Canada will work together another three years after extending a partnership begun in 2004. Open Solutions Canada offers services that allow Canadian CUs to operate full front-and back-end system platforms. CEAMS represents 49 credit unions in the Saskatchewan province.
