CUNA was putting the finishing touches last week on a promotional video urging credit union executives to lobby their congressmen for the forthcoming CU Regulatory Improvements Act-an omnibus regulatory relief bill for credit unions better known as CURIA.
The nine-minute video was filmed at CU House on Capitol Hill and features an introduction from CUNA President Dan Mica and explanations from Republican Congressman Ed Royce of California and Democrat Paul Kanjorski of Pennsylvania, who are expected to jointly introduce the bill in the coming weeks (see related story, page 1).
The video will be available this week on CUNA's website and from the state credit union leagues.
