Viewpointe Connects To Fed

Viewpointe said it has become the first check clearing network to successfully connect with the Federal Reserve banks, allowing its customers to send and receive check images with all financial institutions in the U.S.

The connection allows Viewpointe's customers to route image files to every bank, thrift and credit union in the country.

Thousands of credit unions are connected to Viewpointe through relationships with Viewpointe customers like Southwest Corporate FCU, Fiserv and Endpoint Exchange, the clearing network owned by Metavante. Viewpointe is owned by Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase and IBM.
