Virginia CU Is Fifth Failure

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – NCUA shuttered tiny Shiloh of Alexandria FCU this evening, the fifth credit union failure of the year.

The $2.4 million credit union served just 624 members who were parishioners of Shiloh Baptist Church, just down the street from NCUA.

NCUA closed the 20-year-old credit union after determining the credit union was insolvent and had no prospect for restoring viable operations.
