Vizo Financial in North Carolina promotes chief investment officer to CEO

Fred Eisel has been named the next president and CEO of Vizo Financial Corporate Credit Union in Greensboro, North Carolina.

He will replace David Brehmer, who announced his plans to retire from the $6 billion-asset institution on Jan. 5, 2024.

Fred Eisel will become the next president and CEO of Vizo Financial Corporate Credit Union.

Eisel is currently the chief investment officer for Vizo Financial and has worked in the corporate credit union system for almost 30 years. For the past 22 years, he has been part of Brehmer's executive team.

Brehmer has spent 44 years in the credit union industry, including 29 with Vizo Financial. He replaced Jay Murray as CEO in 2021.

"While I remain energized by the work we do in serving credit unions and particularly any time I get to spend with credit unions, this appears to be an excellent time to allow new leadership to continue the progress we have made since forming Vizo Financial," Brehmer said in a press release Thursday.

Vizo Financial serves credit union service organizations, state leagues and more than 1,100 credit unions in the U.S. and Canada.
