Washington CUs Busy In Olympia

Washington's credit unions have been busy in this state's capital, welcoming a new director of the Department of Financial Institutions and meeting with the governor on financial literacy.

Washington's Gov. Christine Gregoire has appointed Scott Jarvis as the new director of the DFI. Among Jarvis' first duties was to meet with credit union and Washiongton league officials to talk about efforts being pioneered by the Jump$tart Coalition.
