Washington’s HAPO Community CU Pushes Into Oregon

RICHLAND, Wash. – HAPO Community CU plans to build its first Oregon branch after receiving regulatory approval to serve residents of Oregon’s Umatilla County.

The $820 million credit union, chartered to serve workers at the Hannaford nuclear site, will build a branch in Hermiston, one of several on the drawing boards, credit union officials said.

HAPO currently has 11 branches in Washington and serves about 86,000 members.
