Wescom CU Acquires Second InsuranceAgency

PASADENA, Calif. - (12/08/05) -- Wescom CU announced Wednesday thatit has acquired Lopez Insurance Agency, Inc., a Downey-basedproperty and casualty insurance agency, the second insuranceacquisition by the $3 billion credit union in the past year. Thecredit union acquired Hallmark Insurance of Downey almost a yearago. The two agencies will form the core of the credit union'swholly owned CUSO, Wescom Insurance Services, LLC.
