PASADENA, Calif. – For the second year in a row, Wescom CU employees will work at the L.A. County Fair next week to build a Habitat for Humanity house. The home will be built at the county fair through the month of September, then moved to a permanent location. When finished, the house will be a three-bedroom, two-bath home for a family selected by Habitat for Humanity. Wescom is paying for construction costs and has committed more than 250 employee volunteers to help build the house. The credit union will have a webcam so members, employees and the public can watch the project at home.
