WesCorp Acquires FMS InfoServ

FMS InfoServ, a Los Angeles-based item processing, check collection and ACH services provider, has sold its check processing line of business to WesCorp. The deal turns over to WesCorp more than 60 new accounts and approximately 2.2-million items per month, consisting mostly of share draft services from CUs in California, Nevada and Arizona. The deal is to be completed in early 4th quarter, 2003. In the first six months of 2003, WesCorp's Item Processing Services processed 231.8 million items for more than 700 credit union members.
