West Virginia FCU Taps CU Veteran As New CEO

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – West Virginia FCU said yesterday it hired Nick Arvon, president of Charleston Area Medical Center FCU, as president and CEO of the $166 million credit union.

Arvon succeeds Wally Preston, who is retiring after 33 years. Preston will remain active as treasurer on West Virginia FCU’s board.

Arvon has been CEO of $53 million CAMC FCU for the past 13 years. Before that he worked in management positions at the accounting firms of Arnett & Foster and Ernst and Young.
