RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. - (12/03/04) -- The California and Nevada creditunion leagues are targeting Jan. 17 as the initial air date fortheir $6 million public advocacy campaign. Henry Kertman, directorof public relations for the California CU League, said a small teamcomprised two credit union CEOs - one from northern California, onefrom the southern part of the state - two marketing staff membersfrom credit unions, league staff members and advisors from aresearch firm, is working to get things ready for next month'splanned release. "We are looking at concepts for the ads andconducting focus groups. We are looking to get expertise on the adsand test them with consumers before the launch," Kertman told TheCredit Union Journal.
