CO-OP Signs Pennsylvania CUs...
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif.–The $1.4-billion Members 1st FCU and the $1-billion Citadel FCU have joined CO-OP Network. Both credit unions’ members will have access to 626 CO-OP Network ATMs in Pennsylvania and 25,000 ATMs across the U.S.
Founded in 1950, Mechanicsburg-based Members 1st is the third largest credit union in Pennsylvania and ranked 75th in the U.S. Citadel is ranked among the nation’s top-125 credit unions and serves over 121,000 members in Chester County, a Philadelphia suburb, Citadel is the fourth largest credit union in Pennsylvania.
... And Announces Price Reduction
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif.–CO-OP Financial Services announced a price reduction that impacts Falcon Neural Network transaction scoring for signature- and PIN-based debit transactions.
The decrease, which results in an estimated $1-million cost savings for CO-OP’s 2,800 member credit unions, marks CO-OP’s 10th price reduction in 10 years “Our executive management team and board of directors felt it was important to provide our members with a reduction in the fraud and risk management area because it remains a primary focus for the financial services industry,” said CEO Stan Hollen.
Separately, the $1-billion ORNL FCU has joined CO-OP Network, the nation’s largest credit union EFT network with 25,000 surcharge-free ATMs.
Through this affiliation, ORNL FCU’s 127,199 members gain surcharge-free access to all CO-OP Network-branded ATMs, including 146 in Tennessee.
ORNL FCU is the third largest CU in Tennessee.

Central CU of Fla. Picks Pemco
SEATLLE–Central Credit Union of Florida (CCUFL) has selected Pemco Technologies to process its Visa credit and debit transactions.
The $106-million CU, based in Pensacola, Fla., also offers its members a Pemco card-loyalty awards program along with online banking, loans, savings and checking accounts, IRAs, and more.
