Wings Financial CU Pilots IMM’s Cloud-Hosted Document Service

APPLE VALLEY, Minn. – Wings Financial CU has introduced web-based document capabilities through Integrated Media Management’s Document Exchange.

With web-hosted documents, IMM said credit unions can make forms available online for electronic completion and signing, which extends additional self-service options to members. Documents are simple for financial credit unions to create and deploy; form fields are highlighted for consumers to intuitively fill and click to eSign. With this value-added functionality, the company said financial institutions allow their consumers to comfortably initiate processes online and submit executed documents back to the institution.

Wings Financial already has found value in applying the Web-hosted document capabilities within Document Exchange to its skip-a-pay requests, IMM said. Previously, the $4-billion credit union either had to mail hard copies or e-mail documents to members, neither allowing electronic signatures to be applied. Now, it has documents the same afternoon rather than waiting days for members to return them. Wings Financial said it has taken more than 5,100 applications to date and saved many staff hours as well as cut overtime for staff.

“The credit union has streamlined a previously manual process to be much more efficient while adding operational consistency to a process where forms had multiple formats and originated from various sources,” said Polly Belden, deposit systems manager, Wings Financial. “The Web-hosted document capabilities of Document Exchange enable greater employee productivity while providing members a much higher level of service.”

Credit unions also can apply this feature to credit card transaction disputes, contact information changes, and credit or debit replacement requests, to name a few.

IMM said its Document Exchange is powered by Adobe EchoSign. It is browser- and device-agnostic and integrates with a wide variety of financial core and lending/deposit systems as well as the majority of ECM/imaging systems – enabling the automated archival of eSigned documents. Document Exchange performs signer authentication, captures intent to sign and validates ongoing document integrity to produce legally enforceable eSignature records.
