Wisconsin's 1st Community CU completes core conversion

Member Driven Technologies announced that the $143 million 1st Community Credit Union converted its core processing to MDT’s Symitar Episys core processing system on February 27.

Based in Sparta, Wis., 1st Community has more than 11,000 members and was founded in 1961.

The credit union posted net income of $912,964 in 2016, after generating a similar $914,983 the prior year, according to its call reports.

MDT said it currently serves clients in 28 states, performing the processing for over 1.8 million members with combined assets of $19.6 billion. Larry Nichols serves as the company's president and CEO.
