A guard at the GECU recognized the woman, identified as Romelia Garcia in the parking lot. The guard locked the bank and called police. They say Garcia tried to leave in her car but was stopped before she could get away.

The 34-year-old suspect is believed to be connected to the robbery at the El Paso Area Teacher's FCU last week as well as the robbery at another GECU last month.
