Woman Charged With CU Heist After Getaway Car Located

DANBURY, Conn. – A woman suspected of robbing a branch of Sikorsky FCU yesterday morning was arrested after police tracked the van she allegedly used to flee the scene.

Samantha Enright allegedly walked into the branch at around 10 a.m. and passed a teller a note demanding an undisclosed amount of money. The teller complied and Enright quickly fled with more than $3,000 in a Chevrolet Astro van, police said.

Enright was arrested about half an hour later and is being held on $10,000 bond.

She has been charged with first-degree robbery, third-degree larceny and interfering with the duties of a police officer.
