Harvard Business School Adds CU Case Study
CAMBRIDGE, Mass.-For the first time, Harvard Business School has added its case study an American credit union-specific case. (In 2004, it featured Vancouver, B.C.'s VanCity CU.) The inclusion in the study of Affinity Plus FCU in Minnesota came at the prompting of the Filene Research Institute. Harvard Business School Professor Peter Tufano is also a Filene Research Fellow, and Tufano profiled Affinity Plus after Filene asked its Research Council for suggestions on credit union case studies. In all, eight submissions were made before Affinity Plus was selected. Funds from the Credit Union Executives Society have made a limited number of complimentary downloads of the Affinity case study available. This case will also be taught at the CUES Advanced Leadership Institute at Harvard Business School this summer.
