KY, NC Regulators Reaccredited
ARLINGTON, Va.-NASCUS announced that the Kentucky Office of Financial Institutions (OFI) and the North Carolina Credit Union Division (NCCUD) have earned NASCUS re-accreditation. The
Kentucky OFI, first accredited in 1992, supervises 30 state-chartered credit unions, with combined assets of more than $1.3 billion. The NCCUD, also first accredited in 1992, supervises 73 state-chartered natural person credit unions and one corporate, totaling more than $15 billion in assets.

CUNA Tech Council Elects Board
MADISON, Wis.-Elected to the executive committee of the CUNA Technology Council were: Brian Warfel of Power Financial CU in Pembroke Pines, Fla., re-elected as chair; Gail Koehler of Purdue Employees FCU in West Lafayette, Ind., re-elected as vice chair; Gordon Gregory of Mazuma CU in Kansas City, Mo., re-elected as secretary/treasurer.
Rudy Pereira of Alliant CU in Chicago, re-elected to the executive committee. Other board members include Jackie Buchanan of T&C FCU, Robert Keubler of 1st Financial FCU, and Ron Broaddus of Greater Nevada CU.
NCUA Offers Free Training Sessions

Survey: Small CUs Bump Pay
MADISON, Wis.-A recent CUNA salary survey showed that nine out of 10 credit unions with $1 million to $35 million in assets provided wage increases to their staff in 2006. The percentage is consistent with base pay increases in credit unions overall, reports the 2007-2008 Small Credit Union Staff Salary Survey, published by CUNA's Center for Research and Advice. Small credit unions' base pay increases in 2006 for management staff were 3.58%, compared to 4.05% for credit unions overall. Credit unions can purchase the survey for $69.
