Rather To Keynote In Calif., Nev.

LAS VEGAS-A keynote address by veteran CBS News anchor Dan Rather tops the agenda for the California and Nevada CU Leagues' annual meeting and convention, to be held at the Bellagio Hotel here Nov. 8-10. Lisa Ling, host of the award-winning documentary series National Geographic Explorer, also is scheduled to speak at the convention. After joining CBS News in 1962, Rather has interviewed every United States president since Dwight D. Eisenhower and virtually every major international leader of the past 30 years, and covered all major national and international events.

Mass CUL Adopts New Logo

ORLANDO-The Massachusetts Credit Union League has unveiled a new logo, saying it's an evolution of its old logo, which was 10 years old. The new look retains the most recognizable element, the "starmen" from the earlier design.

"The characters have always made a strong graphic statement of aspiration to great heights," stated League President Daniel F. Egan, Jr. The design work was done by RDW Group, Providence, R.I.

Fortney VP Of Women in Housing
