Zag Gets $13.5M In New Funding

SANTA MONICA, Calif. - Zag, the parent of Autoland, a popular online car buying service for credit unions, has received $13.5 million in new equity financing. The company plans to use the additional capital to expand its offerings, including end-to-end transaction capability it plans to introduce later this year.

Since launching in April 2005, Zag has raised more than $46 million in equity capital and additional acquisition debt of $21 million for a combined total investment of $67 million.
