For the ninth time, Neighbors FCU, Baton Rouge, La., sponsored WBRZ’s “Pat’s Coats for Kids.” The event raised a record $100,251, and collected 7,000 coats. All money and coats went toward providing warm clothing for children in need.

The Foundation for Northwest FCU, Herndon, Va., held its first ever Kids in Crisis drive, collecting more than 2,000 plush toys, blankets and other comfort items for local first responders to provide to children in crisis situations.
