In Carson City, Nev., more than a dozen hungry contestants, including Greater Nevada CU employees, a local athlete and a law enforcement officer, consumed pancakes for 3 minutes straight to raise funds for the Special Olympics Nevada Polar Plunge.
Staff from Pacific Marine CU, Oceanside, Calif., raised $500 for the San Diego Humane Society through its Holiday Ugly Sweater Contest.
