Robins Financial CU, Warner Robins, Ga., made a $30,000 donation to the Children’s Miracle Network after a month of fundraisers. All branches hosted bake sales and raffles, and the CU held a social media contest in which $1 was donated for each new subscriber on the Robins Financial YouTube channel.

Unitus Community CU, Portland, Ore., sponsored professional women mentors who accompanied their Princesses to Doernbecher Children’s Hospital to make blankets for patients, then led a financial workshop to teach the Princesses valuable financial life skills. Separately, Unitus’ Dream Come True program gave children with serious illnesses a chance to become part of the Oregon State Beavers football team and coaching staff.
