First Citizens’ FCU, Fairhaven, Mass., unveiled its newly remodeled Raynham branch to its members with a two week-long Grand Reopening. The new design includes an open concept to promote more communication between members and staff, including teller “pods” replacing teller lines.

Chartway FCU, Virginia Beach, Va., broke ground on a modern, full-service branch located on the corner of Newtown Road and Kempsville. The 5,020-square-foot branch, which will replace the current location across the street, will feature an inviting, open-concept floor plan.

Middle school students in Eau Claire, Wis., completed Royal CU’s Future U.S. Entrepreneurs program. FUSE is a competitive learning experience for students to draw from their business and entrepreneurship classroom lessons to create a business proposal and present to a panel.

Grand-opening celebration

First Community CU, Chesterfield, Mo., opened its newest branch. The full-service branch with drive-ups and an ATM is located across from the old Crestwood Mall and features a self-serve coin kiosk. This office will be another home to Investment Services at First Community.

Golf for nonprofits

Columbia CU, Vancouver, Wash., gave more than $24,000 in proceeds from the first annual John McKibbin Legacy Classic Golf Tournament to three Clark County nonprofit agencies: Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center’s Child Abuse Assessment Endowment Fund, Pearson Field Education Center and Leadership Clark County. Each agency received a check for $8,078.
