Robins FCU, Warner Robins, Ga., supported Rooms from the Heart, an organization that redecorates the bedrooms of critically or terminally ill children, as 11 employees volunteered their time to redecorate the room of Kylei Chambliss.
Dover FCU, Dover, Del., donated $1,868.44 to March of Dimes through Blue Jeans for Babies.
Freedom FCU, Bel Air, Md., presented The Upper Chesapeake Health Foundation representatives with its annual gift of $10,000.
In Miami Lakes, Fla., JetStream FCU's Miozoti Serrano, VP of HR, was part of a group that sponsored a free children's dental mission for the children of South Florida. Separately, the CU sponsored two charity golf tournaments: Communities of Faith-Keepers and the 41st William "B" Graham Memorial.
SAFE CU, Folsom, Calif., won first and third places in a credit union speech contest to promote financial literacy.
St. Anne's CU, Fall River, Mass., held a casual day for a cause to benefit Wreaths Across America.
Security Service FCU, San Antonio, awarded $50,000 in scholarships to 20 graduating high school seniors in Texas, Colorado and Utah. Each student also received an iPad Mini.
Educational Systems FCU, Greenbelt, Md., sponsored 70 runners at the Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10-Mile Run. The CU was recognized for sponsoring the Prince George's County Spelling Bee for the past decade, and it opened a new branch in Annapolis.
In Montgomery, Ala., MAX CU's MAX4Kids Foundation awarded $25,000 in scholarships to 10 high school seniors.
Georgia Heritage FCU, Savannah, Ga., celebrated 75 years of service by holding its 2015 annual meeting followed by a free band open to the public. Separately, the CU raised $2,000 in the American Cancer Societys local Relay for Life.
