WSECU supports state parks

Washington State Employees CU, Olympia, Wash., and the MHRV Show Association made a joint donation of $23,544 to Washington State Parks. MHRV Show Association produces the Seattle and Puyallup RV shows. For the past five years, WSECU has been the shows’ presenting sponsor. Each organization donated $1 for every regularly priced ticket sold.

Dow Chemical Employees’ CU, Midland, Mich., donated 35 factory-reset iPad mobile digital devices – many of them only very gently used – to CAN Council Great Lakes Bay Region, a nonprofit organization that offers prevention education, intervention, advocacy programs and services for children and families in both Saginaw and Bay counties.

State Employees’ CU, Raleigh, N.C., held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the phase-one opening of 16 SECU Lakeside Reserve apartments in Wilmington. The two-phase supportive housing development is designed for homeless citizens with disabilities. The SECU Foundation made a $1 million grant to help several Wilmington non-profits complete construction.
