St. Mary's Bank, Manchester, N.H., gave a $2,125 Community Outreach grant to fund an after school art program conductedby the Currier Museum Art Center.
Sioux Empire FCU, Sioux Falls, S.D., filled four large boxes of toys to deliver to Toys for Tots. Separately, the CUs bake sale raised more than $1,200 for the Community Outreach and Center for Hopes Sharing Christmas program.
NARFE Premier FCU, King George, Va., hosted a Santa Savings event. Members of the community were invited for hot cocoa and cookies and to have their picture taken for free with Santa. Anyone who opened a Youth Savings Account was matched up to $25.
Jeanne D'Arc CU, Lowell, Mass., said thanks to the kindness of its members and employees it donated hundreds of new, unwrapped toys to the Toys for Local Children nonprofit organization.
TDECU, Lake Jackson, Texas, was named one of Houston's Top Workplaces by the Houston Chronicle.
United FCU, St. Joseph, Mich., supported education in Fort Smith, Ark., by providing incentives for students to regularly attend class, and by offering rewards to youngsters who meet reading goals.
Neighbors FCU, Baton Rouge, La., chose four local families in need of assistance for Christmas presents.
BrightStar CU, Sunrise, Fla., collected hundreds of toys at its annual Holiday Toy Drive and donated them to Family Central, Inc.
People's CU, Middletown, R.I., participated in the Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program with trees set up in the lobbies of all six branches.
Hopewell FCU, Heath, Ohio, donated winter wear, including hats, gloves, scarves and 17 youth size coats (total value $350) plus $125 in Giant Eagle gift cards to the Salvation Army.
SECU, Raleigh, N.C., is partnering with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Social Services to shine a spotlight on foster care and adoption by displaying faces of children. Separately, SECU's property management subsidiary, State Employees Credit Union*Real Estate (SECU*RE), renovated two homes in Greenville.
Volunteers from Security Service FCU, San Antonio, collected turkeys, food and cash during the month-long Food4SA Food Drive benefitting the San Antonio Food Bank. Separately, SSFCU employees participated in the annual Great Turkey 5K race.
Diamond CU, Pottstown, Pa., hosted a Food Drive, Angel Tree and a Holiday Sweater Contest to support various local organizations.
