St. Paul, Minn.-based City & County CU held a grand opening celebration for its new branch in Shoreview. Community members enjoyed a hot cocoa bar, a visit with "Frozen" characters and entered to win more than $2,500 in prizes.
Orion FCU, Bartlett, Tenn., kicked off its 2015 Orion Gives Back initiative by hosting a lunch for the patients and families at the Ronald McDonald House of Memphis. A team of 12 Orion volunteers was on hand to man the kitchen and serve the meal.
The Indiana Credit Union Foundation, the TCU Foundation, the National CU Foundation and Teachers' Treasures combined to provide financial literacy resources that will benefit thousands of students in Central Indiana.

Team IUCU helped bag nearly 41,000 lbs. of Red Delicious apples for distribution in Monroe and other counties. Separately, IU CU donated $25,000 toward Ivy Tech Bloomington's new student success center.
GCS Credit Union, Granite City, Ill., donated to the Edwardsville YMCA as a Platinum Partner.
Northwest FCU, Herndon, Va., opened the doors to its newest branch a second Herndon location with a more interactive feel for its members and services for local businesses.
Meriwest CU, San Jose, Calif., sponsored a $25,000 grant to Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County through the Federal Home Loan Bank's AHEAD Grant program.
